From the Philippines, where he was celebrating his 32nd birthday on Dec. 17, eight-division king Manny Pacquiao had a message for troubled boxer, Floyd Mayweather. Jr.: Take care of your legal problems and fight.
"He's facing so many problems," Pacquiao told local television news organization TV Patrol, according to Mark Vester of BoxingScene.com. "I hope he solves them soon so he could go back to the ring."
Mayweather was arrested on Friday in connection with being a recent target of a Dec. 8, outstanding arrest warrant on a misdemeanor battery complaint alleging that he poked a security guard in the face several times, and requiring that Mayweather to turn himself in or face arrest at any time.
If convicted Mayweather faces a maximum of six months in jail and a $ 1000 fine. Mayweather reportedly still is in custody.
