On Jan. 29, likely in Atlanta, WBO junior welterweight (140 pounds) king Timothy Bradley is scheduled for an HBO televised clash with southpaw WBC counterpart, Devon Alexander, with an eye, in victory, toward facing southpaw eight-division titlist Manny Pacquiao, owner of the WBO welterweight and WBC junior middleweight (154 pounds) belts.
BoxingScene.com's Rick Reeno sourced Bradley's promoter, Gary Shaw, as saying that he has contacted Top Rank Promotions' CEO, Bob Arum, about matching Bradley (26-0, 11 knockouts) against Pacquiao (53-2-1, 38 KOs) in a clash of welterweights.
Pacquiao is coming off of Saturday's lopsided, HBO pay per view televised unanimous decision over Antonio Margarito at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
